The team behind Cotswold Airport Spotting are a group of aviation enthusiasts with experience in aviation photography, aircraft spotting, the airline world, business and flying as private pilots.
During the lockdowns of 2020 and the increase in traffic to Cotswold Airport it was noticed that no dedicated spotters website was available, and so CAS was born, having already achieved great success with Bristol Airport Spotting an initial basic website was developed and hopefully it will grow to become the spotting website for Cotswold Airport receiving thousands of hits a month, and to become one of the best spotting websites in the UK.
My interest in aviation started at a young age, living near to the approach of Bristol Lulsgate Airport. I visit the airport as much as possible from the mid 1980’s to the current date. My interest in aviation covers all aspects from light aircraft through to large military. I have an extensive library of images taken at Cotswold Airport back through to the late 1980’s in print and slide format. I am working through scanning these images and posting them to my flickr site and website.
I started spotting in the early 2000’s with my dad and took up photography not long after. I’m interested in both civil and military photography which can be found on my Flickr. I have joined the CAS admin team in Autumn 2019 but do come and say hello if you see me.
